I worked on Diana Al-Hadid’s commission for the October 2025 re-opening of the Princeton University Art Museum, The Ziggurat Splits the Sky, as a technical designer & fabricator at Fabhaus. Our scope was primarily to provide a canvas for the mosaic, in the form of platforms installed beside and beneath the ziggurat produced by UAP.

This project presented challenges requiring technical precision and aesthetic sensitivity, but the end result was stunning. I was responsible for technical design, fabrication, and coordinating installation of the structural framing and platforms. This was an incredible opportunity for me, working directly with the artist to execute her creative vision for the shapes of the platforms. This involved producing files for in-house CNC fabrication and coordinating with external vendors to create platforms that fit within and around what UAP had already installed.
